Our Commitment

Omvera LLC is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards to our website and application interfaces.

We believe accessible design is good design — for everyone. Our goal is to meet or exceed the requirements of WCAG 2.1 Level AA, the standard referenced by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 508, the European Accessibility Act, and similar laws worldwide.

Standards We Target

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines cover four principles:

  • Perceivable — Information and UI components must be presentable to users in ways they can perceive
  • Operable — UI components and navigation must be operable via keyboard and assistive technologies
  • Understandable — Information and operation of the UI must be understandable
  • Robust — Content must be robust enough to be interpreted by a wide variety of user agents and assistive technologies

We also design with awareness of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Title III, Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, and the European Accessibility Act (EAA).

Measures We Have Taken

To support accessibility, Omvera has implemented the following measures:

  • Skip navigation link allowing keyboard users to bypass repeated nav elements
  • Semantic HTML5 elements with appropriate ARIA landmark roles
  • All images include descriptive alternative text
  • Color contrast ratios meeting WCAG 2.1 AA requirements (minimum 4.5:1 for body text)
  • All interactive elements are keyboard navigable with visible focus indicators
  • Form inputs include associated labels and autocomplete attributes
  • Respect for user preference for reduced motion via prefers-reduced-motion media query
  • Consistent navigation structure across all pages
  • Language attribute set on all HTML documents
  • No content that flashes more than 3 times per second
Known Limitations

While we work toward full WCAG 2.1 AA conformance, we are aware of the following current limitations and are actively working to resolve them:

  • Some animated ticker elements may not be fully controllable by all assistive technologies — we have added aria-hidden to purely decorative tickers
  • The client dashboard application (app.omvera.io) is currently in development — full accessibility review is scheduled prior to public launch
  • Some older PDF documents linked from the site may not be fully tagged for screen reader compatibility
